A Leica Leitz Wetzlar 36mm Orange filter (often marked OR or FSEOO) is a classic accessory for black-and-white film photography, used to increase contrast, darken blue skies, lighten reds/oranges (like brick), and enhance atmospheric mood by selectively absorbing some blue light, making skies darker and clouds pop, especially useful on vintage lenses like the Elmar or Summitar with A36 thread mounts.
