Olympus Pen F Eyecup -3 Correction Lens
The original Olympus Pen F/FT/FV series features a rare, dedicated, and often 3D-printed or vintage accessory eyecup designed to fit the film camera’s small, circular eyepiece. It provides a comfortable, light-blocking surface for the eye. This includes a -3 diopter correction lens.
A -3 diopter correction on an Olympus PEN-F indicates a setting or physical lens designed specifically for nearsightedness (myopia). It allows you to see the viewfinder image sharply without wearing your prescription glasses
-3 Diopter: Used for nearsightedness; it reduces the “power” of your eye to bring a distant-seeming image into focus.
It shifts the focal point of the viewfinder optics so that someone who typically needs glasses for distance (like driving) can see the digital display and icons clearly.
