What It Does

Incident Light Metering: Placing a diffuser cap over the built-in selenium light meter window transforms the meter reading from standard reflected light (measuring light bouncing off your subject) to incident light (measuring the light falling on the subject).

Cell Protection: Caps or protective covers shield the meter’s sensitive sensor window from physical scratches, dust, and long-term environmental degradation
