      The Baader Hyperion M43/T-2 T-Adapter (Part #2958080) is a precision-engineered accessory that allows you to connect your DSLR or CCD camera directly to Baader Hyperion and Morpheus eyepieces for eyepiece projection astrophotography.


      Key Specifications & Design

      Thread Sizes: Features a female M43 thread on the eyepiece side and a universal male T-2 (M42x0.75) thread on the camera side.

      Compatibility: Designed to screw directly into the external M43 photo/video thread found on standard Baader Hyperion (fixed focal length and Clickstop Zoom) and Morpheus eyepieces (usually hidden under the rubber eyeguard).

      Camera Connection: The male T-2 thread allows you to attach any standard camera-specific T-ring, locking your camera body securely to the eyepiece.

      Optical Path Length: Extremely compact (adds only about 0.5 mm to 5 mm of optical path depending on the exact build) ensuring a solid, rigid system without unnecessary bulk.

      How It’s Used

      By threading this adapter onto the eyepiece, you convert the eyepiece’s visual-only thread into a standardized T-thread. This allows you to stack T-2 extension tubes between the eyepiece and the camera to achieve classic eyepiece projection, magnifying the image for detailed lunar and planetary photography
