The Canon Battery Magazine BGM-E2 is a dedicated tray that allows the use of six AA batteries (alkaline, lithium, or NiMH) to power specific Canon battery grips, providing an emergency or alternative power source to LP-E5/BP-511 lithium-ion packs. It is compatible with the BG-E2, BG-E2N, BG-E3, and BG-E4 grips.
