      The LC-1 was primarily built for the Canon FD-mount era. It is officially compatible with:35mm SLRs: New Canon F-1 (with AE Motor Drive FN or Power Winder FN), A-1, AE-1 Program, and the original F-1.8mm Cine Cameras: Models like the 514XL-S, 312XL-S, and 814XL-S.

      The Canon Wireless Controller LC-1 is a vintage infrared remote control system designed for 35mm SLR and 8mm film cameras. It allows photographers to trigger their cameras cordlessly from up to 60 meters (nearly 200 feet) away.
