The Canon TX is a 35mm manual focus single-lens reflex (SLR) camera from 1975. It features a center-weighted light meter, a horizontal cloth focal plane shutter with speeds from 1 second to 1/500th of a second, and the Canon FD lens mount, which is also compatible with older FL-mount lenses. Key features include a hot shoe for flash and a mechanical body that remains functional without a battery, though the meter requires one to operate.
