Leica Leitz Ablon Folding Film Trimming Template

The Leica ABLON Folding Film Trimming Template is an accessory for Leica screw-mount cameras that trims the leader of 35mm film to the correct length (about 10-11 cm) for loading. It is a hinged “sandwich” template that uses internal pegs to align the film’s perforations, then a blade is run along the curved edge to cut the leader for proper loading. This tool prevents camera jams caused by standard, modern film leaders being too long for older Leica models.

The trimming template is in excellent used cosmetic condition, please see photos provided.
