A Leica Ernst Leitz Wetzlar PL (Polarizer) 39mm filter is a vintage, high-quality glass filter with a polarizing foil between two parallel glass discs, designed for Leica M-mount (E39) lenses to reduce reflections and glare from non-metallic surfaces, enhancing color saturation and contrast, often featuring a metal rim (chrome or black) and used in film photography for dramatic effects, available as screw-in or sometimes integrated into lens hoods.

The filter is in good used cosmetic condition, please see photos provided.

Optically theres a bubble in the polarising coating.
