Minolta Remote Sensor Adapter
The Minolta Remote Sensor Adapter allows off-camera use of vintage Minolta flashguns (specifically the Auto 320X and 320) while maintaining automatic exposure. It connects the flash head to the camera’s hot shoe via a coiled cord, ensuring the flash sensor measures the light falling on the subject, no matter where the flash is positioned.
Compatible Cameras
The shoe module slides onto standard hot shoes, but its full electronic features depend on the camera era:
Vintage Minolta Film SLRs (Native): Fully compatible with manual and electronic-shutter Minolta bodies from the late SR/MD era, such as the Minolta XD-7 (XD-11), XG series, and later X-700 / X-500 systems.
Modern Digital Cameras: It can physically slide into standard ISO hot shoes (found on Canon, Nikon, Fujifilm, and Panasonic mirrorless/DSLR bodies). It can trigger the flash manually, but you must set your exposure parameters manually on the flash unit.
