The Nikon MD-12 is a popular battery-powered motor drive for manual focus Nikon film cameras (like the FM, FM2, FE, FA, FM3a) that provides continuous film advance, up to 3.5 frames per second, for faster shooting and better handling, especially with heavy lenses, offering single (S) or continuous (C) modes, requiring eight AA batteries, and featuring an integrated shutter button and remote release capability, but does not include automatic film rewind.
