The Nikon TC-200 is a vintage 2x teleconverter for manual focus AI-mount Nikkor lenses (typically 200mm or shorter), doubling the focal length and magnification (e.g., a 200mm f/4 becomes a 400mm f/8) while reducing light by two stops, offering excellent optical performance with NIC coating for contrast and minimal image quality loss, allowing automatic diaphragm and metering with AI cameras.
