The Olympus XA3 is a compact 35mm film camera released in 1985 as an easy-to-use, pocketable alternative to the XA2. It features a, 35mm f/3.5 lens, zone focusing, and automatic DX-coded ISO detection (25-1600). Known for its sliding “clamshell” cover that protects the lens, it offers automatic exposure, a +1.5 backlight compensation button, and is powered by two LR44/SR44 batteries.
