It is a non-reflex, spring-wound camera, featuring a duralumin body with leather covering and a D-mount lens system. Known as the “baby bolex,” it is popular for its precision, durability, and manual operation.
The Kern-Paillard Yvar 12.5mm f/2.5 is a vintage prime cine lens designed for 8mm film cameras (D-mount), often used with Bolex B8/C8 cameras. Known for sharp image quality and precise Swiss construction, this manual focus lens provides a standard view for 8mm, with an aperture range from f/2.5 down to f/22.
