The Kern-Paillard 36mm f/2.8 Yvar is a vintage telephoto prime lens designed for 8mm cine cameras, notably Bolex, utilizing a D-mount. Introduced around the 1940s-1950s, it is known for its compact metal construction, smooth manual focus, and 10 aperture blades, typically ranging from f/2.8 to f/22.
