The Rodenstock Rodagon 105mm f/5.6 is a professional-grade, six-element enlarging lens primarily designed for medium format negatives up to 6 × 9 cm. Renowned as a versatile workhorse, it delivers exceptional edge-to-edge sharpness, high contrast, and minimal distortion for both demanding amateurs and commercial darkrooms.
The Rodenstock Rodagon 105mm f/5.6 uses a standard M39 × 1/26″ screw mount (often called the Leica Thread Mount or LTM).
Advanced Functionality
Aperture Controls: Features an illuminated f-stop scale for easy reading in the darkroom, a preset aperture mechanism, and a click-stop diaphragm that can be switched to “clickless” (stepless) mode.
Macro & Digital Usage: Because of its outstanding resolving power and flat-field projection, this lens is frequently repurposed outside the darkroom. It serves as an excellent high-resolution macro taking lens on bellows systems, DSLR cameras, or CCD taking devices (when paired with a focusing device like the Rodenstock Modular-Focus.
