      The Schneider-Kreuznach Componon-S 135mm f/5.6 is a professional-grade 6-element, 4-group flat-field enlarging lens designed to cover negatives up to 4×5 inches

      To mount the Schneider-Kreuznach Componon-S 135mm f/5.6 to a modern DSLR or mirrorless camera, you need to account for two factors: adapting the rear mounting threads and achieving focus (since enlarging lenses do not have built-in focusing helicoids).
       Identify Your Rear Thread Size
      Depending on the exact vintage and barrel design of your companion s 135mm the rear mounting thread will usually be one of the following:
      M42 x 1mm (Commonly found on earlier versions with the f-stop scale printed directly on the aperture ring).
      M50 x 0.75mm or M40.5mm (Found on various later versions or specific industrial barrels)
