The Sea & Sea MX-5 is a, rugged, 35mm point-and-shoot amphibious film camera designed for snorkeling and diving. Released around 2000, it features a fixed-focus 28mm lens, automatic film handling, a built-in flash, and a waterproof rating of up to 36m (120ft) It is known for its durable, bright yellow plastic shell.

Design: Simple “camera-in-a-case” design, often in yellow for high visibility, suitable for snorkeling, diving, and sandy conditions.

Lens: Fixed focus 28mm lens. Underwater focus range is roughly 0.7m to 1.7m Operation: Fully automatic film loading, advance, and rewind.

Flash: Built-in, automatic flash that fires in low-light conditions.

Film: Uses standard 35mm film (recommended 100 or 400 ISO).

Power: Operates on two AA alkaline batteries.
