The Signal Corps U.S. Army AM 1449 binoculars appear to be a potential misidentification or an unusual model number for typical U.S. Army Signal Corps binoculars, which were generally identified by different markings, such as “EE” series or “6×30” specifications. The standard issue binoculars from the WWI and WWII eras often referenced in the AM (Army Model) series are usually radio, electronic, or test equipment rather than optics
