Compatibility: While it attaches to the Adaptall-2 system, it is designed to work best when paired with compatible Tamron lenses.

Aperture Impact: As a 2x teleconverter, it will reduce the effective aperture of your lens by two stops (e.g., an f/2.8 lens becomes f/5.6).

The 01F model is widely regarded as a “flat field” teleconverter, meaning it is engineered to minimize off-axis aberrations, such as spherical and chromatic aberrations. Because it is part of the Adaptall-2 ecosystem, it allows for TTL (Through-The-Lens) metering and full AE (Auto Exposure) capabilities on most cameras when used with the appropriate mount adapter.
