The Vivitar Release Cable (often referred to as the Vivitar CR-1 or designed for the PG-2 grip) is a specialized mechanical shutter release cable intended for use with the vintage Vivitar Quick Release Pistol Grip flash bracket system. It allows photographers to hold the camera with the grip while firing the shutter with a trigger button on the handle

The cable is in excellent used cosmetic condition, please see photo provided.
