      The Sekonic Studio Deluxe (most notably the current L-398A model) is a classic, battery-free analog light meter used by photographers and cinematographers to measure ambient light.

      Key Features
      Battery-Free Operation: Uses an amorphous photocell (passive solar cell) that generates its own power from light, requiring no batteries or external power. 
      Swivel Head with Needle Lock: Features a rotating head and a button that locks the needle reading in place so you can “walk the set” or take measurements comfortably. 
      Dual Measurement Modes: Capable of taking both incident light readings (measuring light falling on the subject) and reflected light readings (measuring light bouncing off the subject). 
      Versatile Attachments: Comes packaged with a rotating Lumisphere for 3D objects, a Lumidisc for contrast and flat-field measurements, a flat Lumigrid for reflected light, and a High Slide for bright conditions.
      Still and Cine Settings: Displays proper exposure combinations for both standard still photography shutter speeds and cinema frame rates
